The Master in Economics and Data Analysis (EDA) combines a solid training in economics and quantitative techniques with a thorough knowledge of the European and international economic and institutional context. It entails two curricula: Economics and Data Analysis (ED) and Data Science (DS). 

The EMOS programme is embedded in the DS curriculum. At their second year, DS students might decide to obtain the EMOS label by properly selecting their elective courses as well as a compulsory internship in institutions producing official statistics. The programme aims at responding at emerging needs of qualified people in the production and analysis of data, with particular reference to official statistics. It is characterised by the study of methods and problems related to the production of data, machine learning methods, textual data analysis, laboratories for software and elements of statistics and official statistics. Further, it introduces not just technicalities, but an understanding of the institutional environment and dissemination aspects as well as communication and soft skills.
