Mobile Network Operator (MNO) data: Methods for Integrating New Data Sources in Official Statistics

Target Group	Staff working in National Statistical Institutes or Other National Authorities wishing to learn about methodologies for the integration of MNO data with other non-MNO data sources to produce official statistics
Entry Qualifications	Sound command of English. Participants should be able to actively participate in discussions and to make brief presentations
Objective(s)	The main objectives of the course are: to promote methods for integrating MNO and non-MNO data to guide the ESS members to the use of non-probability data in official statistics to emphasize the role of sample surveys in the new eco-data system to promote the developments proposed in the MNO-MINDS project among the ESS
Contents	Core characteristics of MNO data and their usage in official statistics Non-MNO data sources and their integration with MNO data sources Methods for integration: the inference perspective Ad-hoc surveys as potential source to improve MNO data
Expected Outcome	Participants should be able to: improve their knowledge on methods for processing and integrating MNO data with other non-MNO data sources explore different aspects and challenges connected with the processing and integration of MNO and non-MNO data discuss the proposed methodologies with different integration scenarios and data sources
