The most interesting aspects of EMOS for Örebro University School of Business include its strong connection to the European Statistical System, opportunities for collaboration with national and international institutions, as well as producers of official statistics, and its emphasis on high-quality, policy-relevant statistics. For me personally, EMOS offers a unique platform to advance research in official statistics, engage with cutting-edge methodologies, and contribute to the education of future statisticians who will shape evidence-based decision-making.
What do you see as the key benefits of an education in official statistics for master’s students?
A master’s education in official statistics at Örebro University School of Business provides students with advanced statistical skills, practical experience, and a strong foundation in data-driven policymaking. With close ties to the European Statistical System and collaborations with national institutions, students gain
valuable insights into the production and analysis of high-quality statistics.
