Q: How to fix issues related to broken links?
A: The Quality measures tab may contain several error messages related to broken links but there is only one error message that really means a broken link. You can easily identify it by its status code that is “404 Not Found ”. In practice, this means that there is no document or resource behind the link. Replace the link with the correct one.
Note: The report shows the time when the 'potentially broken links' were identified (in the example below on 5.12.2024), as it does not happen when the Quality measure report is generated. The report is being updated either on the dates of Send for validation / Validate / Publish (not the massive republish though!), or on intervals of checking the list of metadata files in batches, for potentially broken links, every night. Therefore please ignore the message in the report if you checked the link and it is working, but the message is still displayed in the report.
