The webinar took place on 16 May 2023 and provided the main steps of web (internet) data acquisition and processing illustrated with the use-case of online real estate sales/rental offers. It showed participants step by step from assessing the content of the webpage, through creating data acquisition tool and presenting possible use of the collected data. The webinar also covered the methodological and quality-related challenges when using web data in official statistics, as well as possible solutions developed by the Web Intelligence Network.
