Recenseamento da População e Habitação
Abstract
The Census is an exhaustive statistical operation designed to collect details of all statistical units included in the study universe. Statistical units are individuals, families, dwellings and buildings, as specified by the study. Through the population and housing data collected through census operations, it is possible to obtain, by geographical disaggregation, a "snapshot" of individuals and their living conditions, which allows this information to be utilized as a major instrument in decision-making agencies, both for economic and construction planning.
