Abstract
The Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey was launched in October 1998. Its mission is to monitor the attitudes and behaviour of people in Northern Ireland annually to provide a time-series and a public record of how our attitudes and behaviour develop on a wide range of social policy issues.
For further information on this series, please refer to the UK NILT.
In 2003 and 2008, the Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey included modules on questions of ageism and ageing. These modules were conducted in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
