Abstract

The objective of the SES is to provide accurate and harmonised data on earnings for policy-making and research purposes. The SES gives detailed and comparable information on relationships between the level of remuneration, individual characteristics of employees (sex, age, occupation, lenght of service, highest educational level attained, ...) and their employer (economic activity, size and location).
