Abstract

The survey among private households aims at distinguishing the population aged 15 and older in 3 groups: the employed, unemployed and inactive population and to give detailed quarterly and annual information about these groups. The survey assesses the key evolutions in terms of employment and unemployment according to international definitions, which are then used as a basis for a number of headline labour market indicators (e.g. employment and unemployment rate and economic activity rate).
