Zeitbudget Erhebung
Abstract
The German time use survey provides detailed information on the time spent by people on different areas of life. To date the survey has been carried out twice in 1991/92 and 2001/2002. Time use is recorded via a journal which collects data on time use in 10 minute intervals. In addition detailed socioeconomic information is collected via household and personal interviews. This enables the data to be used to compare time use between different social groups and the division of labor within households.
