As part of its migration to SDMX 3.0, Eurostat has been working on migrating its SDMX objects to a new version of the Euro SDMX Registry powered by the Fusion Metadata Registry software.
As a first step in this migration, all Data Structure Definitions (DSDs) and Dataflows in active use have been migrated to the new Euro SDMX Registry earlier this week. DSDs and Dataflows will from now on be solely maintained in the new Registry. The legacy Registry is still available in read-only mode, but updates to DSDs and Dataflows will only be made in the new Registry.
Metadata Structure Definitions (MSDs) and Metadataflows are still for the moment managed in the legacy Registry: they will be migrated to the new Registry in January 2025.
