Abstract

The Statistics on Migration and Residence Changes provides a statistical overview of migration flows in Spain, each autonomous community, each province, and each municipality, including flows with foreign countries, as well as internal migrations within Spain.

The results are broken down by gender, age, country of nationality, and country of birth of the migrant, as well as by the origin and destination of migration, and they are fully consistent with population censuses.

The data obtained in this way are transmitted at the national and international levels as official data on Spain's migration flows for all purposes.
