Notes
The data quality is monitored during all the stages of the survey. The information on main groups of jobs and on statistical regions is collected, processed and made available quarterly so that it provides a better accuracy of average data calculated in order to get the annual aggregations. The response rate is big enough to guarantee the consistency of the results (about 85%).
During the stage of data entry, the application has a number of conditions for logical control and for correlations in order to trace the registration faults, as follows: - conditions for a logical control; - conditions for the correlation between chapters; - conditions for the comparison with the data from the previous period (survey); - conditions for controlling the data integrity; - report/ non-report statistics by reason.
In addition, comparisons with the common indicators from the monthly survey on earnings are made for each sample unit.
After the input and the validation of data, they are centralized and compared to indicators from other sources so that the consistency, the coherence and a good quality of final results are provided:
- the indicator ''the number of occupied jobs'' is compared with the indicator ''the number of employees (those with the work contract suspended excluded) at the end of the month'' from the monthly survey on earnings, for the same period of reference, on total and on sections CAEN Rev.1;
- the indicator ''the number of jobs'' is compared with the information obtained from administrative sources.
The period of registration (19 days) is determined so as to allow the final results to be obtained in the shortest period of time possible after the period of reference.
