Abstract

The statistical Labour Force Survey has been conducted since 1998 in pursuance of the European Council and European Commission regulations, obliging the European Union Member States to constantly conduct the Labour Force Survey and release the survey results quarterly and annually.

In the Labour Force Survey, the standard definitions of the employed persons and the unemployed of the International Labour Organization are used.
