EMOS network meeting on updates of the EMOS Guide for applicants, October 2025 (presentation)
The EMOS network meeting on updates to the EMOS Guide for applicants presented an overview of the main updates resulting from the recent revision of EMOS, and was targeted at coordinators of established EMOS-labelled programmes. Following a study and discussions on the future of EMOS, including at the EMOS Workshop 2024, the EMOS Secretariat and the EMOS Board had finalised the proposal for a mission, goals, and value statement for EMOS, the proposal of revised EMOS learning outcomes and the proposal of revised EMOS label requirements. These documents were endorsed by the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC) in May 2025, and the revisions have been implemented in the updated version of the EMOS Guide for applicants that was published in July 2025.
